Symbolizes a good and sweet life
With a blessing, God finishes with the fruit of the date palm.
He doesn’t call the fruit “date” but rather honey. If we separate the Hebrew word for date, “tamar” into two parts, we get “tam-mar”.
“Tam” means finish, and “mar” means a bitter taste or suffering, thus
The end of the bitter, the end of the suffering.
God blessed Eretz Yisrael and the Children of Israel, and the date is placed at the end of the blessing and called it honey!
“Until now it was hard for you….from now on the suffering is over and the new beginning is only sweet.
You will have only sweetness like the fruit of the date honey.
